Given the preoccupations of food and enchanted eggs, spiral storms of leaves and crows, pet computers and Quigley's mother cat, Sugarplum, the dragons collect artifacts in their supply pouch and write invisible sentences in the air.

Quigley lives in the Victorian house on No.5 Noah Street with his aunt Abigail, cousin Katie and Sugarplum. Katie, as the dragons will discover, has everything to do with the story they live in.
