Amazon.com Review Simple, classic design meets modern functionality in Bush Furniture's Weston entertainment collection. This corner video base accommodates most 36-inch conventional TVs (up to 240 pounds) and most 42-inch flat-panel TVs (up to 100 pounds) on a raised top platform. Below, a framed tempered-glass door opens to the components compartment with one adjustable shelf and a back cutout for cords and wires. Six faux-leather baskets flank the sides for tidy--and stylish--media storage. Finished in satiny black with tapered feet and a silver-toned round door pull, this video base is casual yet crisp, making it very welcoming in a living room, den, or bedroom. It can also be combined with the matching hutch (sold separately). The base measures 51-3/4 inches wide by 23-3/8 inches deep by 24 inches high and has been tested for tip-free safety. Assembly is required, and instructions and a toll-free customer help line are included. Six-year warranty. --Kara Karll

Customer Reviews Excellent corner unit,,well built and very sturdy. January 2, 2008 William Lucas (Archbald,Pa. USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am completely satisfied with this Bush corner video base.It is well designed and eye appealing. It is used with my fifty inch plasma tv with no problems.I did find, however, that when I placed my dvd/tuner on the bottom shelf,I could not see the info.on the dvd or use the remote control for it.The glass in the door was too small. However,i compensated for this by raising the dvd until its face was fully viewable in the glass door.I used black wooden blocks to accomplish this.I believe that the distance from the room corner to the front center of the base might be helpful to future buyers.

This is a solid and reasonably well-made piece of assemble-it-yourself furniture. The box was *heavy*; I live on the third floor, and for a while it looked like my delivery man wouldn't be able to get it up to me. If you're going to be moving yourself at any point in the near future, you might think twice. On the upside, it's heavy because it's sturdy. The closed back style makes it a bit tricky to hook your componants up to each other and the tv, but also does a better job at hiding the cords in the darkness than our old open-back cart did. The bevelled glass door sometimes gets in the way of a remote signal, or makes the display on the lower shelf's componant hard to read, but you could easily remove it if that was an issue for you. Overall, I'm pleased with how it looks and functions, I just wish it weren't so heavy.

This thing is really heavy--but very sturdy. Assembly instructions were good and it looks nice. The description says it fits a 42" flat screen, but my 46" Samsung fits on it with room to spare.
