I have Copper Bond joints that I put in over 5 years ago that are doing just fine. You have to be careful with the mixing, but the one time I messed up I was able to hit it with a torch and the bond let go and I cleaned and re-bonded it. (Put a smashed flat tin can between the pipe and the flammables!)
I mostly used it when the pipe was either right next to something flammable or part of the pipe was hidden behind a wall and I was afraid to crank on the pipe to install a compression fitting. The Einstein that installed the HVAC venting in my house ran it (insulated flex duct) right along the pipe sections, which makes Copper Bond a great solution to install a tap for my ice maker connection and my humidifier connection (put a tee with a valve and a stub for those, don't install a saddle valve on your main piping!)
I'm also a perfectionist and I hate seeing burned/blued fittings!

I replaced a section of my house with copper pipe a little over five years ago. Since the area was unlikely to get water damage...I took a chance. My contractor told me that he had never seen it done this way and I should stick with the conventional torch.

Well, it has been a little over 5 years and it is still no leak. I don't exactly sure how to rate the product. It is definitely very easy to use compared to the soldering method. I re-pipe approxiamately 25% of my house with this product and safe quite a bit of money on labor and it didn't take me that long.

I will revise this review again perhaps in the next couple of years if the product is still listed.

For now I will rate it for ease of use and safe money (it could be messy if you are not careful).
