I have had to write to the company for a new charger twice after these lights stopped working for no reason. The Mobi light is a much better, more durable product, and the battery lasts far longer. These vessel candeloo lights are attractive but a big disappointment.

The idea is great - cute little rechargeable bedside lights. The lights themselves are good-looking. However, there's a major problem with the design - the induction charging base emits a high-pitched squeal when the lights aren't on it (to me it's fingernails-on-chalkboard annoying). I called Vessel and they confirmed that all of their two-light charging bases squeal but "not everybody can hear that high". Kids usually have better high-frequency hearing than adults, and since they're the target users for the lights this design flaw is completely unacceptable.

Fast shipping, a little high price but very durable. Gives off a very soft calming light. My daughter loves her new night lights.

I have purchased both the version on the market now (2007), and the former model (2006). The new model is vastly improved over the old nightlight. I bought these for my son to use as a nighlight that he can carry. The 2006 version lasted only about 5 hours brand-new, and the light bulb burnt out after only a few months of use (not to mention the fact that they came apart every time they were dropped by my toddler). When going to their website to buy new lightbulbs, I discovered the 2007 version. This version seems to be more durable, and is more user-friendly. The design is almost identical from the outside, but a new bulb inside means it stays lit throughout the night (8 hours) and has a more gentle glow. I'm very pleased with the new, improved product.

I love these Candeloo lights!! They are whimsical and fun, as well as very practical. I have three children, and the lights have endured four years of abuse before the light inside one of them went out! Very sturdy, they turn on when there is a power failure, which is reassuring and simultaneously fun for the kids. Great idea, fun gift!
