I purchased this for my fiance as he has a small collection of hats and it is the perfect size for behind his computer room door. We used the small plastic holder hook to hold it as our doors close too tightly to use the 'over the door' hook. I used some masking tape to hold the middle (under a cap) and bottom sections (on top of the bottom plastic holder hook) to the door. I didn't want to put a screw hole in the varnish. The caps are held very well and we like the fact that they face forward and you can read the caps. It was very simple to put together and it will hold up to three caps on a hook. If I were to buy another one for someone, I would purchase this one again as it has everything that makes it an outstanding item.

This is the simplest and efficient product that does what it is advertised to do, holds 18 base ball hats.
