I just got my casio in the mail and it was easy to set up all u have to do is read the manual and u will set this watch up quickly. The only problem I have with this watch is that i should of got it sooner then later. The price is way cheaper then Walmart. I will always look on amazon to purchase items be I go any where eles. Keep up the good work amazon...

Great watch and and even better price. You have to read the whole manual a few times to get a feel for how all the functions work. The light on this thing is great.

This watch is as awesome as most Casio G Shock watches can be. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the light only makes the analog hands visible. There is no light for the digital display. Great looking watch and super accurate with atomic time keeping and the convenience of solar power.

Ive had this G shock about a year and a half now. Seems like every 6 months something starts to go wrong. At first it was the LED to light the face at around 6 months. Since the hands are luminous I decided I could live without it because sending it in is a pain. Then at about a year it would stop keeping analog time if I took it off and the watch sat a temp. lower then about 80 degrees. I had to reset the analog time almost daily. It was out of warranty at this point, I called and casio told me it would cost me $60 to fix it. I was not doing that. Now, the reset for the analog hands does not work, so Its just got digital time now. When I bought this thing I wanted an all black, tough analog watch that would last a while. So much for that. The digital features and the self updating time have been great, but a year and a half into ownership the hands dont work, cant be set and you better light a match if you want to see what time it is in the dark: Buyer beware.

While it lasted, it worked great. The Atomic timekeeping, solar was fantastic, and the watch itself quite rugged. Unfortunately, after slightly more than 2 years (was a birthday gift June 2006), it started acting up. First, the auto-light sensor stopped working. The LCD portion has lost one segment, so it is very hard to read. Then, more seriously, the watch's atomic receptor stopped working, failing every time I try to get a new sync. Worse yet, it now resets itself to 1/1/2000 every night. The whole reason I bought this was to have it last for a long time. It is out of warranty, and I'm not about to throw good money after bad, especially after reading about other people's bad service experiences.
