I have several of the pocket pencils and their cousings, the Zebra pocket pens. They actually fit in my coin pocket, and they write very smoothly. They are very sturdy, being of all-metal construction. (No cheap plastic here!)

I don't understand why Zebra stopped selling these, but if you need a small pencil (or pen) for your checkbook, notebook, purse, etc, I would highly recommend getting at least one of these little beauties.
