Everything else prior to this shaver never gave results at all on my ginormous black sofa, but immediately this simple, safe, inexpensive well designed gadget completely made my sofa smooth and comfortable again. I love it. Didn't take long, didn't frustrate me, suuuper ez to empty and get right back to using, it's quiet, gentle, and is good for the long job and doesn't tire or overheat. And you gotta love the option to use the AC adapter or the batteries. I say but it, yo.

Pluses:

- Most shavers on the market are battery-operated only. The one can be plugged into an outlet or use battery power source. Super convenient.

- Sometimes the size of the tool is of importance. It's much bigger than average which means that it does the same job in less half the time.


Minuses:

- Doesn't remove super fine fuzzies.

- Press it too hard and it will nick your favorite sweater from your favorite midwestern boutique. Nothing in the world is idiot proof.

I like it because it's electric and I won't have to buy batteries all the time. It doesn't shave as well as some I've had in the past but it does a good job.
