I have two shepherds and they both love these! Grunting and squeaking can get annoying while you're trying to watch a movie or have some quiet time. If your dogs are like mine, make sure to retrieve the squeaker and grunter after they rip the Hedgehog open (possible choke hazzard).

My Cattle Dog LOVES this toy. She carries it around while making it grunt. She sits around chomping on its head to make it squeak. She shakes it to make it rattle. She loves to have it tossed to her or thrown for her to chase. It is by far her favorite toy ever, and tossing it is our favorite game.
I first bought this toy years ago for a Bullmastiff that nabbed my Furby, carried it to her bed, and started grooming it. She loved it, too, but being a Bullmastiff was not so big on chasing it.

This is one of the best dog toys I've ever seen. My Pit Bull loves stuffed toys, and this one with its 3 squeakers is a HIT. He loves it more than any other toy and will carry it around the house with him.
I have to get him a new one about every 6 months when he finally manages to pull out the stuffing from the old one. Despite this, the toy is a fairly durable for one of this type.
Some haven't managed to hold up a day when confronted with my dog who's determined to get that squeaker out.
The dog's stopped playing with any other kind and I've stopped buying them. Why waste the money. This one is A+

Our dog (a black lab mix who is extremely hyperactive!) has had several of these hedgehog toys and loves them to the max! She plays with them . . . allows us to throw them for her . . . and even sleeps with them. She often just nuzzles and nibbles at it as she loves the noises it makes. After several months, they begin to disintegrate as she continues to play . . . until she finally wears a hole in them . . . at which time she unstuffs her hedgie and loses the privilege of playing with it. Then, she's without until we find another for her. I highly recommend this toy for dogs who like a soft, squishy, squeaky toy!
