Customer Reviews Poor documentation December 11, 2008 Techie 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This video card is easy to install, but a real pain to set up. Documentation is terrible, just a few pages of small print, trouble shooting suggestions are non existant. I spent hours trying to get it to show live TV, I haven't even gotten to trying to record anything. Unless you've done this before, get someone who has to help set it up. So far it has been a nightmare.
Nice but... November 16, 2008 John Kelley (New Castle, De) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a video card it works fine. As a TV it is terrible. TV last about 5-10 minutes and then the sound goes. Sometimes on reboot the TV dissappears all together. The new Media Center is a lot of GUI that is not needed. The old Media Center used for the All-in-Wonder 8500 was simple and you didn't need to launch the entire media center to run any of the items.
Great for Media Center! October 6, 2008 George E. Stratton (Amarillo, TX USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to build a HD Media Center computer with Blu-Ray for my 57" HDTV. With the supplied HDMI output it works just as expected...fabulous! There was one problem...I tried the RGB output first and I could not adjust the screen resolution. Just use the HDMI output for excelent results!
Common Amazon, Need better price September 9, 2008 H. Chen (USA) 2 out of 21 found this review helpful
Price of $219 for this graphic card is too much. I saw in local store at Fry's Elect. for 199. I think that's the manufacture suggest retail price. Common Amazon, let's get a better price then $199, than I'll get one. Thanks
