Finally a way to keep unwanted animals out of the garden and protect your yard, fruit trees, vegetables and flowers from hungry or destructive creatures. Cats, dogs, deer, rabbits, large birds, and many others. The patented Scarecrow motion-activated sprinkler is the smartest scarecrow ever invented. When it sees an intruder it instantly releases full garden hose water pressure towards the trespasser. The effect is both startling and immediate. Animals quickly get out of the area and avoid it in the future. The ScareCrow motion-activated sprinkler is constructed of durable, high-quality materials, and has been designed to provide many years of reliable service.

Using the ScareCrow is easy. Simply attach a standard garden hose to its base, set the ScareCrow in the ground in the area you want to protect, and then turn on the water. Once you switch the unit on, it is ready to go.

How does it work?
The ScareCrow uses a combination of sudden noise, unexpected movement, and a startling blast of water to create a memorable and unpleasant experience for the trespasser.
The animal immediately associates this unpleasant experience with the location, and to avoid similar surprises, learns to avoid the area. If an animal chooses to return, the ScareCrow will be waiting.
While a human may flee several steps after activating a ScareCrow, animals are typically affected to a much greater degree. In most cases they run much farther, and stay away longer. Because the unit only triggers when the animal moves, its behavior is difficult for animals to anticipate, making it a very effective deterrent.

5 out of 5 stars Scares The Deer Away   September 7, 2008
Speedo (McLeansville, NC)
Deer were destroying our gardens and deer repellents weren't working. I purchased two Scarecrows and so far the deer have stayed awayed. The first couple of nights I could hear the Scarecrows going off but it quickly stopped after that and so far so good. If it stays this way then the Scarecrows were worth every penny.

4 out of 5 stars Scarecrow scares raccoons some of the time   September 6, 2008
Garden Gal (Maple City, MI USA)
I bought this product to scare raccoons away from newly planted ground cover, which they dug up every night in their search for grubs. Frustrating! I had tried to foil them with just about everything, including sitting up at night with a shotgun, but the devils knew when I was there and waited until I was too tired or cold to stay. Then they came out to do their dirty work.
The Scarecrow worked well the first several times, until the masked bandits somehow figured out how get under the radar of the motion sensor. It then helped to move the device so that it targeted them from a different direction.
This product works well--I can vouch for that since it has gotten me, my husband, and the gas meter man soaked more than once. But raccoons are wily critters. Make sure you change the Scarecrow's location every few days to make them think they're being ambushed from all sides, and it should drive them off the area you're protecting.

1 out of 5 stars scarecrow motion activated sensor   September 6, 2008
Alice Mcconnell (Northwest Florida)
We received our scarecrow and when it didn't work, we sent an email to the company. This was answered by a canned statement that the product must be dirty and we should clean it. When we called the company they took us through a series of "tests" to check for dirt, again. Even though I told them that it had not been used so how could it be dirty. They finallly agreed to send a new product, which we have not received as yet. I would not buy from this company again.

5 out of 5 stars Works great for turkeys   September 6, 2008

Turkeys were tearing up our garden on a daily basis. After installing the crow, we have only experienced minimum damage on a sporatic basis. It really works.

5 out of 5 stars Repels the way it's suppose to.   September 5, 2008
PKeel
This was purchased to scare deer out of the yard. So far...it's done the job beautifully. It's easy to set up and use. My biggest problem is remembering to turn it off and getting squirted myself. It also scares dogs out of the yard and occasionally a squirrel and birds. Amazon had the best price I could find on this item. It's well worth the money if you grow fruits and vegetables and don't want critters eating your garden. I gave this five stars but it should get ten stars.
