Amazon.com Product Reviews

An innovative design for a lightweight tandem stroller, the Joovy Caboose ultralight stand-on tandem stroller manages to fit into a 21-pound stroller all of the feature--and then some--of a traditional sit-and-stand. The front seat of the Caboose can fit a variety of infant car seat carriers, and once the child is older than six months, they can be strapped in with a traditional five-point harness. It also has two reclining positions, adjustable footrest, tray with drink holder, and a full canopy. The rear section is for children 2.5 years and older and less than 44 inches tall. While standing they have foam-padded handles, and the padded rear seat gives them a break. Just lock the rear bench seat and buckle the three-point harness, and you're ready to maneuver your way indoors and out. The Neoprene parent organizer is handy, and stow your diaper bag underneath (although, it could stand to be a little larger). The aluminum frame is lightweight and sturdy, and the sage rip-stop nylon helps repel spills and can take a lot more abuse than other fabrics. The manufacturer recommends not exceeding a combined weight of 90 pounds.

5 out of 5 stars Love this stroller!   July 1, 2008
Valerie Kittel (Johnstown, PA)
I have a 2 year old and a 12 week old. This stroller rocks. My daughter loves to sit on her "big girl seat" facing me while I push. I haven't let her stand on it yet b/c they recommend the child be at least 2 1/2 years. I opted for the lightweight...worth every penny. It folds up easy and stores in the back of my van. Turns easy. Everywhere I go, people comment on the stroller, all positive. There isn't much storage area underneath...but some is better than none. Overall, I'm excited about my stroller. I have the black...shows no dirt, I love it.

2 out of 5 stars Not a good fit for a toddler + Newborn in a Car seat   June 17, 2008

We did some serious research before picking up this stroller for our 3 1/2 year old son and new born daughter. All of the reviews made it seem like the perfect fit for what we were looking for. We selected the product because of the light weight of the product and the reviews but once we recieved the product at home and tried it out it was clear that it would not work for us and we ultimately returned it before ever taking it out of the house. Here was the problem for us. Once the baby car seat is installed there is not enough room for our 3 1/2 year old to sit comfortably on the step. He litterally had to lean forward because the front seat has to be fully reclined to support the car seat. The benh seat does shift backwards but the foot rest for the back seat does not so his feet were behind him. "Mommy I am not comfortable" came out in the first 30 seconds of sitting on the stroller. This was a huge disappointment to us. The Product was beautifully constructed, was very light, has a sharp modern look to it, rides well, and folds easily but if you are in a situation to have to use the car seat with a toddler that wants to sit down I do not recommend it. Hope this helps

4 out of 5 stars Very Cool   June 13, 2008

I just received this stroller in the Sunset color...love it! Smooth ride & great canopy. I felt that the front seat is a little shallow for my 3 1/2 year old. (the new baby is due any day) It can work, but she wasn't super comfortable. I also like the height of the handle bar, it's not low like so many strollers. It folds up and opens up like a breeze & as I have no storage space right now it fits under the baby's crib! I definitely recommend this to any mom and dad.

I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and this stroller is the best. It's light enough to take in and out of the car several times a day. It works great with the Graco snugride infant carrier. The only down side is the toddler jump seat is not stationary - but neither is my 3 year old so it doesn't really matter. I really love this stroller and I'm glad I spent the extra money on the ultralight.

5 out of 5 stars Pushes easily   May 15, 2008

Love this - wish we had gotten it sooner. Works great even if I only take one kid out because it is so light and easy to push. I am very tiny and have no problem getting it in and out of the car. It folds very flat - flatter than my single stroller - and lighter. The best part is that is pushes and turns so easily - it is really nice to take the kids out in it. I love the five point seatbelt in the front and the seatbelt on the back seat. I don't have a problem with the basket. The organizer is nice to have, but definitely not as easy to use as a plastic ones on most single strollers. It does the job though and keeps everything handy. My son loves this, though. I like that I can belt him onto the back seat if he is tending to roam, because that was a concern I had getting this since he is only 2.
